Sven has garnered several film-making awards over his career - including one for a viral documentary about a lion with toothache, and another for a Greenpeace promo that had the sun shining out of people's backsides (both can be viewed on this website).

Based in Cape Town, South Africa, he's presently involved in directing several sports-based films, alongside a slew of writing and visual arts projects. All draw upon his art-school roots and multi-faceted experience in journalism, advertising and visual communication. He remains on the lookout for exciting new collaborations and collaborators.
